Electric submersible pumps are commonly used crude oil extraction equipment for offshore oil production processes. They are all known as electric submersible centrifugal pumps and are lifting devices that pump electric motors and multi-stage centrifugal pumps together below the liquid level of the oil wells. Its working principle is that the ground power is transmitted to the downhole motor through the transformer, the control panel and the cable. The motor drives the impeller of the multi-stage centrifugal pump to rotate, converts the electrical energy into mechanical energy, and lifts the well fluid to the ground.

Monel is a solid-solution binary alloy. As nickel and copper are mutually soluble in all proportions, it is a single-phase alloy. Compared to steel, Monel is very difficult to machine.And it is resistant to corrosion and acids. It is commonly used in applications with highly corrosive conditions. Monel K-500 Alloy in the cold drawn and aged condition is furnished for ESP shaft components in pump, protectors and gas separators on submersible pumping systems for oil production.
Inconel alloys are oxidation and corrosion resistant materials well suited for service in extreme environments subjected to pressure and heat. When heated, Inconel forms a thick, stable, passivating oxide layer protecting the surface from further attack. Inconel retains strength over a wide temperature range, attractive for high temperature applications where aluminum and steel would succumb to creep as a result of thermally induced crystal vacancies. Inconel’s high temperature strength is developed by solid solution strengthening or precipitation strengthening, depending on the alloy.
INCONEL718 is a high-strength, corrosion-resistant nickel chromium material used at -423° to 1300°F.The age-hardenable alloy can be readily fabricated, even into complex parts. Its welding characteristics, especially its resistance to postweld cracking, are outstanding. The ease and economy with which INCONEL alloy 718 can be fabricated, combined with good tensile, fatigue, creep, and rupture strength, have resulted in its use in a wide range of applications. Examples of these are components for liquid fueled rockets, rings, casings and various formed sheet metal parts for aircraft and land-based gas turbine engines, and cryogenic tankage. It is also used for fasteners and instrumentation parts.
